General

Why do I need MEND?

Nutrition is not always enough. Your daily diet, even if nutritionally optimized, will probably still not bring you all the nutrients you need, especially when preparing or recovering from surgery! There are simply some nutrients that your body needs, that you cannot derive solely from food, and must be supplemented. Plus, it is extremely hard to create a well balanced diet everyday, that contains all the nutrients you need. That’s where MEND comes in!

 

MEND is developed to bring you all the nutrients you need for many specific situations in one bottle. Repair + Recover and Joint Replacement contain all the nutrients you need to prepare for, and recover from, injury and surgery. Regenerate contains the 33 nutrients your body needs for optimal daily health.  And Cosmetic has all the nutrients you need to prepare for, and enhance recovery from, cosmetic procedures, as well as all you need for healthy and glowing skin!

Has MEND done any clinical testing?

Yes! As a science driven company, MEND continues to invest in research and only uses clinically proven ingredients. How should I take my MEND?

We recommend that you blend MEND into a smoothie to help aid absorption of nutrients. There are a number of smoothie recipes provided on our website.

MEND is not meant to replace a meal.

How soon before surgery should I take MEND?

We recommend that you start taking MEND 2 weeks prior to surgery, and continue taking MEND for at least 2 weeks after surgery or injury. For optimal results, we suggest to continue taking MEND for 6 weeks post surgery or injury. 

How many servings are in a MEND bottle?

MEND Regenerate and MEND Cosmetic contain 20 servings. If you follow our protocol of taking one serving, 5 times a week, this will last you about a month! 

 

MEND Repair + Recover contains 30 servings. Following our protocol of taking one serving a day, this will last you about a month!

 

MEND Joint Replacement contains 21 servings. Following our protocol of taking two servings a day, for one week pre-, and at least 2 weeks post-surgery, the recommended two tubs of MEND will last you three weeks. 

Are MEND’s products FDA-approved?

By law, the FDA does not approve dietary supplements. However, MEND’s products are manufactured in accordance with the FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) in accordance to the code of federal regulations title 21 part 111 for dietary supplements, to ensure quality and safety. 

Is it possible to get all the vitamins and minerals I need through nutrition?

What is the best way to store MEND supplements?

It’s best to keep your MEND in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, with a tightly secured lid (to avoid exposure to moisture which can cause clumping). Do make sure though, that you keep it in a place that reminds you to take your MEND daily!

When do my products expire?

You can find the expiration date of your MEND printed on the bottom of the bottle. 

Ingredients & Dietary Restrictions

Why does MEND reformulate a product?

MEND is committed to continuous improvement and as such is constantly studying ways to improve our products. Be it improving the formulation to enhance the benefits, or simply to improve flavors to make taking MEND even more enjoyable, we’re always looking for ways to improve our products. 

Does MEND contain dairy, gluten, or nuts?

MEND is completely gluten free! Our Repair + Recover, Regenerate and Cosmetic products do contain whey protein, which means they do contain dairy from milk. MEND Regenerate also contains MCT powder, which means it contains tree nuts from coconut.

Is MEND vegetarian/vegan friendly?

Our supplements are vegetarian, but not vegan. Our products contain whey protein, derived from milk, making the products not vegan. We are working on bringing you a vegan option soon! Let us know which product you need first and how you would prepare it.

Where can I see if MEND contains ingredients I’m allergic to?

On our product pages you can find the label with all ingredients and common allergens for each product.

Subscription 

Can I pause my subscription?

If you would like to pause your subscription, you can pause additional orders through your account here. (https://shop.mend.me/account/login) You can always resume your subscription through that same link. You won’t be billed until you decide to reactivate your subscription back in the future. Any already-processed orders will still be processed and shipped.

How do I update my shipping and/or billing information?

How can I cancel my subscription?

We’ll be sad to see you go! If your MEND is piling up, you can pause your subscription, so you can finish your current tubs first. To pause your subscription, login to your account here. (https://shop.mend.me/account/login). You won’t be billed until you decide to turn your subscription back on.

Shipping

How can I track my order?

Once your order is processed, you will receive an email with your tracking information. 

Does MEND ship outside of the United States?

Delivery outside of the US is possible. MEND charges a standard rate for international shipping based on weight, regardless of country. The shipping costs for international orders are calculated at checkout.

When will I receive my order?

All MEND packages are sent through national or international carriers (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL). Please allow 24 hours for our fulfillment center to process each order. All MEND purchases come with free Standard Shipping.

 

Standard Shipping: 4-7 Business Days (excluding weekends and holidays)*

Expedited Shipping: 2-3 Business Days (excluding weekends and holidays)*

 

* Shipping to rural delivery areas and international orders may take longer.

Will there be shipping fees charged on my order?

All MEND purchases within the U.S. come with free Standard Shipping. For international orders, MEND charges a standard rate for international shipping based on weight, regardless of country. The shipping costs for international orders are calculated at checkout.

Returns & Exchanges

How do I return my MEND?​

Customers may return any unopened merchandise purchased from mend.me or mendjoint.com within 90 days of Order date for a full refund.

  1. To start return process for your products, click here and please enter your email (which you used for the purchase) and your Order ID (Your 4-digit order number can be found on your order confirmation email)
  2. Then select the products you want to return. And proceed with the reason.
  3. You will then be sent an email with Instructions as to how to proceed with your return/exchange or refund. Please follow those instructions for a fast process. 
  4. Once your return is received at our processing facility and inspected, your refund will be processed, and you will receive email confirmation.

Note: For any MEND purchases made through alternative channels (Amazon, MD or physician, etc.), you will need to process returns through those channels

What should I do if my items arrive damaged or if I receive an item different from what I ordered?

We make every effort to package your order so that it will arrive in great condition. Unfortunately, sometimes items may be damaged during transit which is beyond our control. We understand your frustration and we will do everything we can to replace the product as quickly as possible. 

  • If you receive a damaged item or a different item, please click here to initiate a return process and choose Reason “Damaged in Shipment” 
  • Then please e-mail us at support@mend.me with subject “Damaged in Shipment - ”. Include your name, order number, Surgery Date (Optional), photos of damaged product, and a photo of the product with the lot code (usually on the bottom face) Then, we will approve a replacement at the earliest.
Where to drop off the return package with the return label provided by MEND?​
  1. Print the return label generated for you by MEND using the email sent to you after confirming Return Request
  2. Attach to your parcel
  3. Return to any USPS location
How can I return a product order over 90 days ago? ​

Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, we cannot issue a refund for a product that was purchased over 90 days ago. However, we want what’s best for you and here at Mend, we can exchange your product to any other MEND product even if it's older than 90 days as long as the product seal is not broken and is in resalable condition. In cases like this, please email us with Subject “Returning old product” to support@mend.me and include your name, email associated with the purchase and your 4 digit order number. 

Not able to find your order number?

Your order number will be mentioned on your order confirmation email from MEND. If you are still having difficulty finding it, please contact us at support@mend.me.

Why haven’t I received my refund for my returned product?​

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@mend.me and we will make sure to process your refund.
