Acclaimed Hip & Knee Surgeon Dr. Jimmy Chow Raises the Bar on Patient Care with Mend | Inkwell Integrated Orthopedic Care Platform

Dr. Jimmy Chow is the first to implement the Mend | Inkwell platform. The integrated model combines remote monitoring, clinical nutrition, and data-driven care to optimize recovery.

New York, NY April 17th, 2026 — Dr. Jimmy Chow, widely regarded as one of the nation's foremost hip & knee surgeons, today announced he will be the first physician to implement the Mend | Inkwell Health fully integrated remote patient care platform, a first-of-its-kind digital care model purpose-built for orthopedic populations that brings together two proven scaling solutions.

The platform, launched in March 2026 through a strategic partnership between Mend, Inc. and Inkwell Health Ltd., combines evidence-based clinical nutrition, inflammation monitoring, temperature tracking, and range-of-motion assessment into a single coordinated care pathway. Dr. Chow's first mover adoption of the platform marks a significant milestone in the program's clinical rollout to more than 30 surgeons across New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Michigan.

"Orthopedic recovery has long been fragmented," said Dr. Chow. "What Mend and Inkwell have built is the kind of comprehensive, evidence-based, and data-informed approach my patients deserve, before surgery, after surgery, and throughout their entire recovery journey."

Through the platform, Dr. Chow's patients will benefit from structured digital navigation, personalized guidance from registered dietitians, remote monitoring of critical recovery metrics, and clinical nutrition protocols designed to reduce inflammation, preserve muscle mass, and accelerate healing.

"Having a surgeon of Dr. Chow's caliber be the first to implement this platform is a powerful validation of what we've built," said Paul Roscoe, CEO of Mend. "Recovery is biological, behavioral, and structural, and this platform addresses all three."

The Mend | Inkwell model is designed for national deployment and is positioned to serve health systems, employer groups, and value-based care organizations seeking improved outcomes in orthopedic populations. “Every decision Dr. Chow makes is centered around his patients and their outcomes. Equipping him with tools that deliver clarity, intelligence, and integrated recovery data ensures he can make faster, more informed decisions that directly elevate patient results”, said John Matthews, CEO of Inkwell Health.
