MEND to be integrated into patient protocols to enhance healing and recovery
We’re very proud to announce that Oregon based leader in orthopedics, Slocum, will be integrating MEND into patient protocols to enhance perioperative care and outcomes. This news comes on the heels of the clinical research team at the Slocum Foundation concluding a multi-year grant funded by NIH, conducted in partnership with the University of Oregon. Led by Hans C. Dreyer, PhD, PT, Associate Professor in the Department Of Human Physiology, the collaboration published the original randomized clinical trials demonstrating the efficacy of a targeted essential amino acid formulation in enhancing outcomes following total joint surgery.
“This is another leader in orthopedics that is focused on multimodal care and giving their patients the best path to good outcomes and a return to better health.” says MEND CEO Eziah Syed, “We’re very proud of our continuing research collaboration with Slocum and their growing adoption of our solutions.”
