How to Make Crispy Air Fryer Tofu

Whip up crispy air fryer tofu in just 10 minutes! It's delicious, easy to make, and perfect for meal prep.

  • 1 lb block of extra firm tofu, pressed for 30 minutes and then cut into 1” cubes (16 oz.)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • ½ tablespoon light soy sauce, or liquid aminos
  • ½ teaspoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper


  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the pressed and cubed tofu with the liquid aminos, tossing to coat.
  2. Add all the remaining seasoning ingredients, including the oil, and toss again to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  3. Arrange the tofu in a single layer in the air fryer, ensuring each piece has a bit of space around it for even cooking.
  4. Set the air fryer to 400°F. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Remove the tofu from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  6. Crispy tofu can be served over a bed of brown rice, quinoa, or whole wheat soba noodles. Pair with plenty of steamed vegetables for a delicious dinner meal!  Enjoy your crispy tofu!
