How to Make Crispy Air Fryer Tofu

Ingredients
- 1 lb block of extra firm tofu, pressed for 30 minutes and then cut into 1” cubes (16 oz.)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- ½ tablespoon light soy sauce, or liquid aminos
- ½ teaspoon olive oil or avocado oil
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the pressed and cubed tofu with the liquid aminos, tossing to coat.
- Add all the remaining seasoning ingredients, including the oil, and toss again to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
- Arrange the tofu in a single layer in the air fryer, ensuring each piece has a bit of space around it for even cooking.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove the tofu from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Crispy tofu can be served over a bed of brown rice, quinoa, or whole wheat soba noodles. Pair with plenty of steamed vegetables for a delicious dinner meal! Enjoy your crispy tofu!
