Control Glucose: A Clinically Proven Approach to Blood Sugar Regulation and Metabolic Health

In contemporary dietary patterns, managing blood glucose levels has become a critical need for the American people. The challenge is due to the prevalent consumption of high-carbohydrate foods.

In contemporary dietary patterns, managing blood glucose levels has become a critical need for the American people. The challenge is due to the prevalent consumption of high-carbohydrate foods. Notably, 42% of the typical American diet comprises low-quality carbohydrates, such as added sugars, resulting in the average adult ingesting 2-3 times the recommended amount of sugar.¹ ² Mend Nutrition’s Control Glucose offers a scientifically validated solution designed to support glycemic control and enhance metabolic health.

We have successfully shown that our product delivers both objective and consumer noticeable benefits, as reported in our double-blind study published in the Journal of Nutrition and Health Sciences, and confirmed in an independent consumer test - both of which we will highlight here today for you.

The Rationale for Control Glucose

Excessive sugar intake is a well-documented public health issue that contributes to various metabolic disorders. Control Glucose addresses this by utilizing a formulation that aids in maintaining normoglycemia and provides sustained metabolic benefits.

Active Ingredients and Mechanisms of Action

Salacia Extract: Research published in the Journal of Natural Medicine indicates that Salacia extracts, administered at concentrations of 200 mg and higher, are effective in modulating postprandial glucose levels and reducing HbA1c. This extract has demonstrated efficacy across multiple clinical trials, showing benefits for individuals who are healthy, prediabetic, and diabetic.³

Chromium: Chromium’s role in potentiating insulin action is well-supported by evidence from the National Institute of Health. ⁴ Chromium also has antioxidant benefits

Magnesium and Calcium: These minerals are integral to numerous physiological processes, including glucose metabolism and homeostasis.⁵

Clinical Evidence Supporting Control Glucose

Our Findings

The double-blind, placebo-controlled study by Mend’s Chief Science Officer Kim Beidermann, PhD, the Journal of Nutrition and Health Sciences, evaluated the effects of a dietary supplement containing Salacia extract and trivalent chromium on glucose regulation and quality of life.

The study found significant reductions in postprandial glucose levels and improved insulin sensitivity markers with regular use. Kim Beidermann, PhD, lead researcher, noted, "This clinical study showed that with regular use, Control Glucose significantly reduced blood glucose levels after a meal, improved markers of insulin sensitivity, and maintained healthy kidney function. Subjects also reported reduced cravings for sweets."

Key Findings- Compared to placebo, Control Glucose:

  • Reduced insulin and glucose response after a meal
  • Reduced sweet cravings

  • Enhanced insulin sensitivity via elevated adiponectin levels

  • Positively impacted of kidney function

These results are consistent with existing literature on Salacia, affirming Control Glucose’s efficacy in managing healthy glycemic levels.³

Consumer Study Insights

A 100-person consumer study ⁶ involving participants aged 21-65 who used Control Glucose for 2-4 weeks provided additional validation. The study outcomes included:

  • 82% reported having fewer cravings between meals

  • 82% experienced more balanced energy levels

  • 81% observed a decreased need for food intake

  • 79% felt the supplement supported their health goals

These findings indicate substantial real-world benefits of Control Glucose in glycemic management and overall health enhancement.

Conclusion

Control Glucose represents a scientifically substantiated approach to managing blood glucose levels and promoting metabolic health. Its formulation, supported by robust clinical evidence, offers healthcare professionals a reliable adjunct in the dietary management of patients with glucose regulation challenges.

By incorporating Control Glucose into treatment regimens, clinicians can provide patients with a means to achieve better glycemic control, improved metabolic outcomes, and enhanced overall well-being.
